I had a business trip planned to San Francisco for Ad:Tech, but had to cancel at last minute due to my wife’s father going into the hospital and my wife needing to travel (I have kid/dog/house/dinner duty and deeply appreciate the job my wife does on a daily basis). Expedia was very helpful in assisting me with cancelling and refunding the money paid for airline tickets and hotel. The hotel required extra calls and Expedia handled it very professionally and quickly.

Title tags on a web page are critical page elements for two reasons:
1) It is seen by the search engines as a strong content element on the page because it is visible to the end user and treated as an important/headline type display.

Yahoo! Geo-targeting Needs Work

We use geo-targeting quite a bit on Google with our higher volume campaigns. If you have the volume, tracking and technical ability to manage a highly decentralized campaign, you can achieve better results through discrete geo targeting, improved positioning and lower CPCs (I’ll cover this in-depth in a future Internet Marketing Review Newsletter).

Wikipedia states, “Link popularity is a measure of the quantity and quality of other web sites that link to a specific site on the World Wide Web.” Most folks today understand what link popularity is but what they do not understand is that link popularity is an important factor in the visibility of a web site within the top of the search results. Some search engines even go as far to require at least one or more links coming to a web site, otherwise they will drop it from the index. Google, as an example, uses a special link analysis system to rank web pages.
